Jim Pee Wee Martin Foundation

In honor of “Pee Wee’s” legacy a larger-than-life statue is being designed to be placed in Sugarcreek township, Ohio – his home of over 76 years. Jim and his wife, Donna, purchased 51 acres after the war and built their beloved home, their life long residence.

The surrounding area will become a Veteran’s Memorial to honor all veterans, local and afar, with a park-like feel. Per Pee Wee’s request, a plaque with names of all who served in the 506th PIR will be placed on or around the statue.

This foundation will support projects in memory of Jim Pee Wee Martin, his legacy and the 506 G company. Eventually (per Pee Wee’s wishes) will help support Vietnam Veterans. Pee Wee’s son, David, served in the 101st Airborne Division in Vietnam. Pee Wee feels Vietnam Veterans have not had enough recognition for their sacrifices. In addition, will provide scholarships to students and help rescue dogs (Pee Wee’s Paws). These efforts will help to keep his life and legacy alive.
